Alepath Educational Pathways has established a new scholarship fund aimed at supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing higher education. The initiative allocates resources to cover tuition, books, and living expenses for eligible recipients over multiple academic years.

Fund Details and Objectives
The scholarship provides up to 15 awards annually, each valued at 8,000 USD for full-time undergraduate students. Priority is given to applicants demonstrating financial need and academic potential in fields such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The program seeks to address disparities in access to educational opportunities by focusing on communities historically excluded from advanced studies. Selection committees will review applications based on essays, transcripts, and letters of recommendation without regard to standardized test scores.
Funding for the initiative stems from institutional reserves and partnerships with private donors committed to educational equity. Officials project that the fund will support at least 60 students in its first five years of operation, contributing to broader institutional goals of increasing campus diversity.
Eligibility and Next Steps
Applicants must be enrolled or accepted at Alepath Educational Pathways and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0. International students and those from rural or low-income urban areas are encouraged to apply. The application period opens in January and closes in March each year, with decisions announced by May.
Program administrators will track recipient progress through annual reports and mentorship pairings with faculty advisors. Data collected will inform future expansions, including potential increases in award amounts and additional categories for graduate-level support. This structured approach ensures measurable outcomes in retention and graduation rates among participants.
